Former British First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Nigel R Essenhigh GCB DL has hailed TMG’s new maritime security partnerships with State 21 Ltd and Bowline Defence Ltd.
He said: “In today’s world of increasing uncertainty it is good to see The Maritime Group International concentrating a broad range of marine and port security services under its banner.
“TMG have enhanced their own security offering by bringing in State 21 Ltd and aligning with the international security provider Bowline Defence Ltd, both UK registered companies.
“I know the TMG partners through the Honourable Company of Master Mariners as two of the directors are Liverymen (one a Past Master) and one of their UK offices is in HQS Wellington.
“I can thoroughly recommend the professionalism and ethos of those directors and I share their vision to provide a range of flexible and responsive security services in today’s rapidly changing world.”
TMG maritime security partner State 21 has attended its first event since our two companies joined forces.
Business development director Tony Birr was on hand at the most successful Seawork International trade show so far in Southampton. Seawork is the largest and fastest growing commercial marine and workboat event to be held in a European port. The new partnership between State 21 and TMG allows us to extend our reach and develop new business opportunities.
TMG has also welcomed Bowline Defence Ltd as a global strategic partner for its maritime security and risk management division.
It means we have the professional expertise and depth of experience to deliver high-calibre security and resilience management solutions for clients worldwide.

We recently had the honour of attending a Battle of Jutland centenary lunch with our strategic partners State 21.
Our Managing Director Malcolm Parrott was among 100 guests at the Naval & Military Club (also known as the In & Out Club), including the past First Sea Lord, Lord Alan West.
The speaker was Nick Jellicoe, grandson of the British commander-in-chief at Jutland, Admiral Sir John Jellicoe.
Our sincere thanks to State 21 for inviting us to the lunch, which was a fitting tribute to this most important of battles and the men involved.
